A parking lot with holes, cracks and malfunctioning lighting can only serve to dissuade customers from returning.  Most importantly, a parking lot that offers a clean and clear driving service and adequate lighting can improve safety and security for customers.  Large deep potholes can cause actual physical structural damage to a vehicle and can cause customers to be turned away from a business.  In addition, poor lighting or a parking lot that is in disrepair can actually create many safety concerns for customers.
